A few days back the Techgaint Samsung has unveiled its first flagship smartphone chips with an integrated 5G modem, which is built on 5nm EUV technology.
This processor brings a new ARM high-performance CORTEX-X1 core and can run up to 2.9 GHz along with three A78 cores and four power-efficient A55 cores. Samsung's Exynos 2100 will directly compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon’s 888 chipsets. Samsung has claimed that Exynos 2100 chipset’s CPU is 30% faster in multi-cores compared to its predecessor Exynos 990. Samsung also claimed that this chipset will enhance performance by 10%.
For Graphics performance improvement ARM Mali-G78 is used for gaming as well as for visually stunning & seamless graphics and enables the most immersive on-screen experience.
Exynos 2100 also bring improvement on the AI front, it uses newly designed tri-core NPU, which have architectural enhancement such as minimizing unnecessary operations for high effective utilization and support for feature-map and weight compression. Exynos 2100 chipset can perform up to 26 trillion-operations-per-seconds.
The Exynos 2100 has an advanced image signal processor that supports up to 200 Megapixels, with the help of this ISP cameras' zoom, performance, image quality and more will be improved significantly.
The Exynos 2100 chipset comes along with an integrated 5G modem which supports 5g’s sub-6GHz mmWavw spectrums for string network and reliability.
