Jaipur Will Have 3rd Largest Cricket Stadium in the World

Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is the Pink City, and will be home to the 3rd largest cricket stadium in the world. The stadium can accommodate 75,00 spectators. The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has been given land for the giant stadium by the Jaipur Development Authority. Two phases are proposed for construction of the stadium. Chop village in Jaipur will be home to the third largest stadium in the world. Located in Jaipur, the tourist capital of Rajasthan, will be India's second and third biggest cricket stadium.
A foundation stone was laid on the Jaipur-Delhi bypass on Saturday for the world's third-largest cricket stadium. Virtually attending the event were the Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, BCCI's President Sourav Ganguly, vice-president Rajiv Shukla, and secretary Jay Shah. The Bhoomi-Pooja was performed by former president CP Joshi and the Rajasthan Cricket Association's chief Vaibhav Gehlot.
RCA president CP Joshi saw the dream of RCA having its own stadium in Jaipur and now Rajasthan is establishing a professional cricket environment. Chief Minister Gehlot expressed satisfaction in the announcement. This stadium of Rajasthan will be ranked third in the world, considering that seven out of ten of the biggest stadiums in the world are located in India, which is an honor for the people of Rajasthan. Including Deepak Chahar, Mahipal, Rahul Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, as well as Ravi Bishnoi in the Indian team is a big accomplishment. "I expect that the BCCI will not ignore Rajasthan anymore," he said.
Two phases of construction will be undertaken to build this 75,000 capacity stadium. First phase construction is expected to provide seating for 45,000 people. Following this, an additional 30,000 seats will be added in the next phase. A 100-acre site is being secured for the construction of this giant stadium, according to Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) commissioner Gaurav Goel. Creating it may require two and a half to three years. The estimated cost to complete the project is Rs 650 crore. The BCCI has provided a grant of Rs 100 crore during the loan, said RCA commissioner Goyal. Rs 100 crore will be collected from the borrower. RCA and others will collect 90 crore. First-phase investments will total 400 crores.
According to Goyal, a loan of Rs 100 crore will be provided to develop Jaipur's third largest cricket stadium. The corporate box will also be used to deposit Rs 90 crore. Facilities for this third largest cricket stadium in the world will include modern amenities. Apart from two practice grounds in the stadium, the campus will have a world-class cricket academy, clubhouse, hotel, and all other state-of-the-art facilities. The largest cricket stadium in the world is also in India. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the largest stadium. It can seat 1.10 lakh spectators. Melbourne, Australia, is home to the second-largest cricket stadium in the world. Seating for 90 thousand spectators is available at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The stadium will be equipped with many facilities.Vaibhav Gehlot, the president of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), said the project of the international stadium should be completed within two and a half to three years. In addition to being the second-largest stadium in the country, the stadium will also be the third-largest stadium in the world. There will be 75,000 seats available. Besides hostel, parking, sports club, hotel, and gym facilities that will be of international standard, this stadium will also have 11 cricket pitches, 2 practice grounds, a cricket academy, and a hotel.
