What is Black Fungus:

Black Fungus is widely known as Mucormycosis. There are three types of Black Fungus. The most affected body parts are the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses from there it can reach the eyes and cause blindness & from there it can reach the brain. Other variants of Black Fungus or Mucormycosis attacks on lungs, and cause Pulmonary Mucormycosis. The third type of Black Fungus is Gastrointestinal Mucormycosis.

The most threatening part of the Black Fungus disease is that it attacks the surrounding blood vessels and destroys them which results in tissue necrosis and can also cause death. These tissues become black once they are dead that is why it is called Black Fungus Disease. People with low immunity and weaker immune system or people who are taking steroids are more prone to get this disease.

People who have Diabetes, people who used steroid for a long time, Covid-19 Patients and people who stayed in ICU for a long time are more prone to get Black Fungus Disease.

What is White Fungus:

Candida Groups (Dirty White) causes White Fungus Disease. This disease also affects people who have compromised immune systems such as HIV, Cancer, Transplant Surgery, and Diabetes. This is not a contagious disease. In this disease, moulds can spread to the vital organs and can create severe health issues.

White Fungus: Which People are at Risk?

Following people can be prone to this disease: People with low or weaker immunity, diabetes patient, cancer patients and steroids use are prone to get White Fungus Disease.

What is Yellow Fungus:

Yellow Fungus is also a fungal infection but it is more fatal and deadly compared to the other two as it starts internally. Since it starts internally its symptoms are showing up late and to treat a Yellow Fungus infected person this disease should be diagnosed in the early stage. Yellow Fungus is also known as Aspergillus can affect the paranasal sinuses, legs and from there can spread to the other organs.

To cure White Fungus common available anti-fungal medicines are used.

Treatment for Yellow Fungus:

For the treatment of the Yellow Fungus, an antifungal drug AMPHOTERICIN B Injection is used which is also used for the treatment of Black Fungus. As soon as symptoms have appeared patients should be taken to the hospitals immediately.
