What is Black Fungus:
Black Fungus is widely known as Mucormycosis. There are three types of Black Fungus. The most affected body parts are the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses from there it can reach the eyes and cause blindness & from there it can reach the brain. Other variants of Black Fungus or Mucormycosis attacks on lungs, and cause Pulmonary Mucormycosis. The third type of Black Fungus is Gastrointestinal Mucormycosis.

This is not a contagious disease. In this disease, moulds can spread to the vital organs and can create severe health issues.
