Early Life of Yogi Adityanath:

Yogi Adityanath is the Chief Minister of India's most populous state Uttar Pradesh. He is a well-known personality. His real name was Ajay Singh Bisht which he left after becoming a Yogi. Yogi Adityanath was born on 5 June 1972 in Panchur, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Anand Singh Bisht was his father. Yogi Adityanath's father was a forest ranger, died on 20 April 2020 due to a chronic illness. Savitri Devi is the mother of Yogi Adityanath. Yogi Adityanath has completed his graduation degree in Mathematics from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand. In the year 1990, he left his home and became a disciple of Mahant Avaidyanath, the head of the Gorakhpur Math. There he took initiation into the Nath tradition, was given the name "Yogi Adityanath" and was later declared the successor of Mahant Avaidyanath.

Political Journey of Yogi Adityanath:

After succeeding Mahant Avaidyanath, Yogi Adityanath contested and won the first election from BJP in 1998 and became the youngest member of Lok Sabha at the age of 26 from Gorakhpur constituency. After that Yogi Adityanath founded Hindu Yuva Vahini which is very popular in Eastern Uttar Pradesh for its work. After that Yogi Adityanath has won 5 consecutive Lok Sabha elections from his constituency Gorakhpur in 1998, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014. Yogi Adityanath's attendance in the 16th Lok Sabha was 77% and he participated in 56 debates, asked about 284 questions and made introductions. Presented 3 Private Member Bills

Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath:

Yogi Adityanath was a star campaigner in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The BJP won that election with an absolute majority and later, pleased with his efforts and dedication towards the party, Yogi Adityanath was appointed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He took oath on 18 March 2017.

Achievements of the Yogi Adityanath Government –

  • The Uttar Pradesh Government is trying to empower the Police Station and also done infrastructural changes. The Yogi Adityanath Government has established around 59 Police Station, 4 women Police Station, 16 Cybercrime Police Station in Uttar Pradesh in recent years. The government is also working to establish forensic labs in 18 different ranges. The government has adopted a ZERO Tolerance Policy for crimes cases. Current Government giving special attention to women security.
  • Yogi Adityanath lead State Government has successfully brought a multifarious change in every field in the state.
  • Whenever someone has broken or tried to broke the law, the state government took swift action against that which has set a standard and due to this, there have been no riots in the last 4 years. Now the image of Uttar Pradesh is changing and Uttar Pradesh has become one of the best places to invest in India.
  • In the last 4 years, Uttar Pradesh Governments has paid 1.27 Lakh Crore to the Sugarcane Farmers.

Per Capita income in UP is also doubled. The unemployment rate in UP has down to 4.1% as per the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), in 2017 it was 17.5%.
  • Uttar Pradesh has reached the Second Position in India of the Ease of Doing Business ranking. This happened because the government has implemented around 500 reforms under the Business Reform Action Plan.
  • Even in Covid-19 Corona pandemic UP has received around Rs 45,000 crore proposals for investment due to its policies.
  • More than 2.4 crore farmers of the state have received Rs 27,134 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) through the DBT scheme.
  • The Uttar Pradesh Government lead by Yogi Adityanath has done extraordinary work during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Though Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India despite the Yogi Adityanath Government has done great work.
