Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV brought home by Mukesh Ambani

Businessman Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani is the chairman, managing director, and main shareholder of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL), one of India's largest companies by market cap. In 2022, Forbes ranked him as the 11th richest person in the world, with a net worth of US$98 billion, and the richest person in the region. Due to a variety of reasons, Reliance Industries Chairman generally makes headlines in the country. Once again, he made headlines for his extravagant Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV. 

The richest Indian Mukesh Ambani, who is the head of Reliance Industries (RIL), purchased a Rolls Royce SUV that costs a whopping Rs 13.14 crore. According to officials at the Regional Transport Office (RTO), it is one of the most expensive vehicles ever purchased in India. Officials in South Mumbai confirmed that on January 31, RIL registered a petrol Rolls Royce Cullinan at the Tardeo Regional Transport Office. It was reported that the businessman had chosen a Tuscan Sun paint job.

Mukesh Ambani, chairman, and CEO of Reliance Industries has purchased a Rolls-Royce Cullinan for an astonishing Rs. 13.14 crore. According to reports, Ambani chose the Tuscan Sun color option and a special number plate ending with "0001" for a price of around Rs. 12 lakh. In addition, he paid an amount of Rs. 20 lakh for the registration of the vehicle until January 30, 2037, and Rs. 40,000 toward road safety taxes.

2018 marked Rolls-Royce's first year selling an all-terrain SUV in India with the Cullinan. A new series of number plates have been introduced with the permission of the Transport Commissioner. Compared to a regular number, the new special series costs three times more. Among the most expensive vehicles in the country is Ambani's new Cullinan.

• Besides its muscular bonnet and chromed rectangular grille, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan has adjustable LED headlights as well as a wide air dam.

• The rear end of the SUV features an antenna on the roof and a raked windscreen, along with vertically positioned taillamps and dual exhaust tips. The SUV's dimensions are 3,295mm in wheelbase and 5,341mm in length.

• With a twin-turbo, 6.75-liter V12 engine that generates 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is a BS6-compliant Supercar. 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are linked to the mill.
