PM Narendra Modi today addressed the Nation for the 7th time on COVID-19, from March 2020 to October 2020. In March when he announced that to keep the people of India safe from this Pandemic, there will be a nation wide lockdown. Since then we as a nation came a long way from a few hundred cases to gigantic number of cases i.e. 76 lac (approx) cases till now (20 Oct. 2020) and this number is keep increasing daily. From the month of May, Unlock 1.0 started to unfold throughout the country. Under the first phase of Unlock many relaxations were given, slowly slowly we reached October and here comes Unlock 5.0. As unlock started to unfold people also started to come back to their work and their daily life routine but at the same time people also started to take Corona lightly, which results in a huge increase in the number of cases from March to October. Along with every unlock there is always a guidelines also issued by the Home Ministry, but people don't follow these guidelines everywhere. PM Modi today addressed the nation and talked about COVID-19 in India. Following are the key points which can be taken out from today’s speech of The Prime Minister Narendra Modi: -
-
The simplest way to stay safe and protected from catching the COVID-19 infection is frequent Hand Washing.
-
In this fight with COVID-19, we can’t afford negligence! Let’s not hesitate one bit to hit COVID-19 out of the field.
-
Maintaining social distancing, wearing a mask and hand washing. Let’s follow these precautionary measures to overcome the pandemic together.
-
Not let your guard down in the country's fight with CORONA because lockdown has gone but CORONAVIRUS is still here among us.
-
Economic activities are also increasing rapidly over time. Most of us are stepping out of our homes everyday to fulfill our responsibilities, to speed up life again. In this season of festivals, the brightness in the markets is also returning slowly-slowly. But we must not forget that even though the lockdown is gone, the virus is not gone. In the past 7-8 months, with the efforts of every Indian, we are not going to let the deteriorating situation that India is in today.
-
Today the recovery rate in the country is good, fatality rate is low. India is succeeding in saving the lives of more and more of its citizens than the resource-rich countries of the world. The growing number of tests in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic has been one of our major strengths.
-
Following the mantra “ Seva Parmo Dharma”. Our doctors, nurses, health workers, are selflessly serving such a large population. Amidst all these efforts, this is not the time to be careless.
-
In recent times, we have all seen many pictures, videos in which it is clear that many people have stopped taking precautions now. This is not the time to assume that CORONA is gone, or there is no danger from the CORONA now.
-
If you are careless, walking out without a mask, you are putting yourself, your family, your family’s children, the elderly in as much trouble. Keep in mind, whether it is America today or other countries in Europe, CORONA cases were decreasing in these countries, but due to carelessness suddenly started to rise again.
-
Until success is achieved, do not be negligent. Until the Vaccine of this pandemic comes, we should not let our fight with CORONA weaken.
-
Work on several CORONA vaccines are currently in operation in India. Some of these are on an advanced stage. Whenever the vaccine of CORONA will come, the government is also preparing for how to reach every Indian as soon as possible. Vaccine reaches every citizen, work is being done fast for this.
-
Going through difficult times, we are moving forward. A little carelessness can stop our movement, tarnish our happiness. Taking care of life’s responsibilities and vigilance will go hand-in-hand only when there is happiness in life. Remember, do not have laxity until there is medicine. Two yards away, wash your hands from time to time and take care of the mask.
