13 April - Jallianwala Bagh Massacre: It occurred on April 13, 1919, in Amritsar, and is also known as the Amritsar massacre. On this day, British troops led by General Dyer opened fire on a large crowd of unarmed Indians in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Several hundred people were killed, and many hundreds more were injured.
