EXAMINATITON: The Examination conducted by IBPS is taken via online mode. IBPS RRBs examination conducted in three phases. First one is Preliminary; second one is Mains & third is interview & allotment to the successful candidates. This whole process is done in 6 months time period. This is beauty of the IBPS that it concludes whole process in very short time and smoothly manner.

  1. Pre : Via Online Mode
  2. Mains : Via Online Mode 
  3. Interview & Provisional Allotment ( Interview will be held for Officer Scale-I, II & III)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Age

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):-Minimum age should be 18 Years and Maximum should not be exceeded than 28 Years.

For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):- Above 18 Years & Below 30 Years

For Officer Scale-II (Manager):- Above 21 Years & Below 32 Years

For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):- Above 21 Years & Below 40 Years

There is age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-serviceman/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities etc. as per rules. Candidate who wants age relaxation needs submit the required documents with photocopies at the time of interview.

Two years as an officer in a bank or Financial Institution.

OFFICER SCALE-III - SPECIALIST OFFICER (MANAGER)

INFORMATION TCHNOLOGY OFFICER:- Bachelor’s degree in any subject or its equivalent from Government recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Desirable: - Certificate in ASSP, PHP, C++, JAVA, VB, VC, and OCP etc.

One year in relevant field

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT: - CA from Chartered Accountants of India.

One year as a Chartered Accountant

LAW OFFICER: - Degree in Law from a recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Two years as an advocate or should have  Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for two years at least.

TREASURY MANAGER: - Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognised University.

One year in relevant field.

MARKETING OFFICER: - MBA in Marketing from a recognised University.

One year in relevant field.

AGRICULTUTRE OFFICER:- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognised University with minimum  50% marks in aggregate.

Two years in relevant field.

OFFICER SCALE-III (SENIOR MANAGER)

Bachelor’s degree in any subject or its equivalent from Government recognised University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Minimum 5 Years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

How to Apply: For applying candidates have to visit the official website of IBPS’s https://www.ibps.in/   before applying candidates have to keep these following things ready with them:

  1. Scanned Photograph of size 4.5 cm X 3.5 cm. Photograph should be recent passport style colour picture with preferably white or light colour background. Size of photo should be 20Kb-50Kb. File type- .jpg/.jpeg
  2. Scanned Signature (Signature shouldn’t be in Capital letters). Signature should be on white paper with Black Ink pen. Size should be 10Kb-20Kb. File type- .jpg/.jpeg
  3. Scan of Left Thumb Impression. Size should be 20Kb-50Kb. File type- .jpg/.jpeg
  4. Scan of A hand written declaration. Size should be 50 Kb-100Kb. File types- .jpg/.jpeg.  The text which needs to be hand written is-  “I ______________ (Name of the candidate) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Note: There is a penalty for each wrong answer i.e. one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question applicable to both Online Preliminary and Online Main examination.

Cut-off Marks: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each of the test of Online Main Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Marks obtained in the Online Main Examination or Single Level examination only will be considered for short listing for the Interview and also for the Final Merit Listing.

SELECTION WILL BE BASED ON THE MARKS OBTAINED IN MAINS EXAMINATIONOF IBPS RRBs BY THE CANDIDATES. A MERITLIST WILL BE DECLARED ON THE BASIS OF MAINS EXAMINATION OR SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION MARKS ONLY. MRKS OBTAINED IN MAINS EXAMINATION OR SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING OF FINAL MERIT LIST & FOR INTERVIEW.

List of Documents required at the time of Interview: Needs to bring Original as well as Photocopies of all the documents and certificates:

  1. Printout of Interview Call Letter
  2. Printout of The online application form registered for CRP- RRBs
  3. Proof of Date of Birth ( Birth Certificate or 10th Mark sheet or 10th Certificate)
  4.  Photo Identity Proof
  5. Mark-sheets and certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification.
  6. Caste Certificate if applicable
  7. Income & Asset Certificate in the case of EWS category candidates
  8. Disability Certificate if applicable
  9. Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service Discharge book along with pension payment order & documentary proof of last rank
  10. Those who are already working under Government Sector/ Public Sector Undertaking  needs to produce a “ No Objection Certificate”
  11. Experience certificate, if any

PROVISIONAL ALLOTTMENT: After the IBPS MAINS examination & Single Level Examination, the candidates will be shortlisted based on the  merit list declared by the IBPS & number of the vaccancies will be depend upon vacancies to be filled in a particular financial year by the particiapating banks. Candidates who have been shortlisted based on the merit list  will be allotted one of the participating banks, on merit & preference basis for RRBs Office Assistant (Multipurpose) & call letter will be sent for Officer Scale-I, II, III.
